I would like to welcome you to Sierra Summit Academy’s website and, potentially, to our academic family. Sierra Summit Academy’s philosophy centers on addressing the needs of the individual. To support our philosophy, we maintain small class sizes, fifteen to twenty students in a class. In addition, we provide support for our students through an after-school program. This aspect functions by providing an additional class period, Monday through Thursday, after the school day that is overseen by a different content area teacher each day. However, the students have access to all the teachers during this time. This aspect provides the student with the opportunity to do homework or to get one-on-one tutoring from a teacher in an area that may be presenting challenges to him or her.
